- Working Location: Novena
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 7.30 AM – 4.30 PM)
- Salary: Basic up to $5,295 + AWS + Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Inculcate school values, 7 Habits and the NEWSTART lifestyle in students whenever possible.
- Plan, prepare and carry out instructional activities that promote active learning experiences.
- Establish and convey clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Prepare a variety of learning materials for use in educational activities.
- Identify and select a variety of instructional resources and methods to cater to students' varying needs.
- Observe and evaluate students’ performance and development.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of students' progress and development.
- Prepare reports on students and activities.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the disciplinary system of the school.
- Perform certain pastoral duties such as student support and counselling.
- Communicate necessary information frequently to students, colleagues and parents pertaining to student progress and student needs.
- Keep updated with subject area, teaching resources and methodologies and make pertinent changes to instructional plans and activities.
- Conduct remedial lessons to help underachievers reach expected competencies in core academic skills.
- Work closely with form teacher to maintain discipline in subject class and to care for the well-being of students.
- To carry out other duties that the school may assign.

- Diploma/Degree holder or above with at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Passionate about teaching and are constantly able to see the best in children
- Familiar with the Singapore educational curriculum
- Competent PC skills are an added advantage
