About the role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epic Systems Interface Analyst to join our Global Transformation Company. As an Interface Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the data exchange between Epic Systems and various other healthcare systems. You will work closely with our client’s internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and efficient functionality of the interfaces. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Epic Systems and healthcare data management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements for new interface development.
- Design and implement interfaces between Epic Systems and external systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyse and troubleshoot interface issues, providing timely resolution and maintaining system performance.
- Monitor and manage interface queues, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of data.
- Create and maintain interface documentation, including specifications, configuration details, and testing plans.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to establish and maintain interface connectivity.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to end-users, addressing interface-related queries and issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Epic Systems interfaces.
- Proficiency in interface engine tools such as Cloverleaf, Corepoint, or Mirth.
- Strong understanding of HL7 standards and healthcare data formats.
- Experience with interface development and configuration in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with interface protocols and routing mechanisms (e.g., TCP/IP, FTP, VPN).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
