About Our Client
Our Client is an established provider of environmental services. With their ever-expanding portfolio in providing services for residential, commercial and institutional customers, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Procurement Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.
Job Description
You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly. The majority of your responsibilities will include managing all contract and procurement activities as well as vendor management.
Your responsibilities include:
- Evaluate tender documents by reviewing contract and specification clauses, offering recommendations for tenders.Create documents that align with tender requirements for submission purposes.
- Assist Department Heads in managing contracts, handling contractual correspondence, and addressing project and costing concerns to ensure adherence to tendering and procurement procedures.
- Scrutinize submissions from external vendors on contract administration matters.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices in procurement, contract strategy, and related functions.
- Define Seasonal Standard Costs for all Categories and Products.
- Establish, review, and enhance procurement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Identify and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement and digital transformation of Procurement processes, collaborating with cross-functional groups.
- Resolve critical Procurement and Purchasing Controls compliance issues.
- Work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
- Develop, implement, and oversee sourcing strategies and programs.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Degree in Supply Chain or related disciplines and have significant years of related working experience in procurement or supply management. You must possess strong tender management skills, planning and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and exert strong leadership skills
