Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, fostering business growth in the Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) sectors, with a focus on Cooling, Solar PV and EV Charging
- Identify customer needs and cultivate a dynamic sales pipeline through effective lead generation
- Manage and nurture client relationships, driving the development of new business prospects
- Develop persuasive business proposals and presentations to nurture opportunities and partnerships
- Structure deals with meticulous business case analysis and negotiate pricing for bids and proposals
- Devise and implement targeted sales and marketing campaigns
- Contribute to the development and transformation of business models, including organizational enhancements and operational adjustments
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the end-to-end innovation process, from strategy formulation to execution
- Prepare regular business reports to senior management, offering insightful updates on sales and progress
- Cultivate and manage ecosystem and channel partnerships, creating a conducive environment for innovation and growth
- Strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders within the low carbon energy sector
- Exercise effective financial management, overseeing project budgets to ensure successful innovation initiatives
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technologically driven field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, demonstrating a track record of success in business development and technology-driven innovation
- Substantial commercial and financial exposure in the energy and infrastructure sector, particularly HVAC or building-related facilities
- Only candidates with experience in the cooling business coupled with good knowledge of this in the India market will be considered
- Familiar with technology trends and innovation drivers in utilities, cleantech, and infra-tech domains
- Proficient in developing financial models to support informed business decisions
- Strong presentation skills, underpinned by clear and effective communication
