The Opportunity
- An opportunity to join a Swiss Multinational Co. (with a global business presence in over 50 countries), we are looking for a seasoned finance professional with strong business acumen and FP&A background to lead the Regional FP&A team in Singapore!
The Role
- Develop and lead the FP&A strategy for the APAC region, aligning with overall group objectives.
- Drive the quarterly/annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with respective country finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial results and key performance indicators, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions to the senior leadership team.
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Including preparing and presenting regular financial reports to senior leadership.
- Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT, HR, and Global HQ to gather data and insights that contribute to accurate financial planning and analysis.
Treasury Oversight:
- Work closely with the group treasury team to manage and optimize cash flow by implementing effective treasury strategies for the APAC region.
- Oversee liquidity management, ensuring the organization has adequate funds for operational needs and capital expenditures.
- Evaluate and manage foreign exchange risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential exposures.
- Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; candidate with CPA / CA / ICAEW / CMA is a plus
- More than 10 years of relevant FP&A experience with leadership exposure in multinational companies.
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a diversified environment.
- Agile with a strong sense of business acumen to execute business strategies with key stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Excel and adaptable to different applications/systems.
