Envisioned as an integral component of a bustling culinary brigade, the Chef de Partie (CDP) shoulders the responsibility of upholding the highest standards of excellence in food preparation and presentation. Collaborating closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the CDP plays an instrumental role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality cuisine while adhering to established culinary practices.
The role includes
- Preparation of raw ingredients (cutting, marinating etc)
- Handle stations assigned to you and producing food items according to set standards and recipes
- Cooking menu items based on the organization's recipes and SOPs
- Ensure that all standards of food preparation and quality are met
- Ensure that cleanliness and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen operations are run smoothly
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head Chef
