Why this role?

KONE Singapore is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking a Delivery Project Planner to join our team in Singapore.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining project plans, monitor and report the project progress against plans from the tendering phase (supporting sales team) to project execution and closure (supporting project team).

What will you be doing?

  • Support sales function by creating project schedules and related support material for use in estimates and proposals.
  • Design, construct and maintain cost and resource loaded schedules for projects in execution and proactively highlights resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements.
  • Interact directly with customers to clearly understand overall project requirements and milestones in order to integrate construction master schedules with those specific to KONE scope.
  • Bridge potential misalignment between KONE Supply Line and Front Line, by actively checking project schedules and identifying and suggesting corrective actions and scheduling opportunities.
  • Assist local Project Manager in the development and maintenance of existing schedules performing critical path, acceleration and gap analysis as required.
  • Assist in project performance analysis and forecasting based on Critical Path and Earned Value.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule development through the lifetime of the Project.
  • Ensure bespoke customer reports and contractual planning obligations are understood and fulfilled.
  • Provide support to Project Team and management in relation to Extension of Time (EOT) claims and Cause and Effect’ scheduling.
  • Assist in project risk analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of planning processes and best practices and assists with their implementation and guides, supports and trains project teams in their application.

Are you the one?

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Business or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, manufacturing, operations or other relevant fields
  • Strong knowledge and has prior experience using Primavera P6 software (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge and experience of construction planning, demand planning/forecasting, operations management, logistics management, manufacturing engineering, and/or customer service. (including quality, delivery, cost, health & safety processes)
  • Prior experience in a planning position with people leadership responsibility
  • Knowledge of construction practices
  • Capacity and sourcing planning skills
  • Project management skills and previous experience on project assignments
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
