Position: Business Development Manager for Ship Management (Overseas posting)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development to join our team. The role of the Business Development Manager is to elevate business orders by strategically planning, maintaining, expanding, establishing, and nurturing relationships and partnerships. The ultimate objective is to drive comprehensive business development and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve company goals.
- Delivery of sales order target and future growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to increase revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry leaders.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform business decisions.
- Develop and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Create and manage customer relations.
- Create and manage budgets for business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of business development plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in the Ship Management industry
- Proven track record of successfull business development and building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in offshore industries or shipyards will be added advantage.
- Able to commit to business travel trips.
- The candidate who is selected for the position will be stationed at our overseas company in Dubai.
- Salary will commensurate with experience.
