Role: Communications Associate (fixed contract)

As a Communications Associate, you are responsible for supporting the Account Director in
our Positioning pillar to position us online and with our audience and partners, with warmth,
authenticity and care for our values.
This role reports to the Account Director.
Job Description
● Work closely with Account Director to develop 12-month communications master plan for 2024, outlining quarterly master schedule for communications strategies across owned channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, EDM, Medium), ensuring effective communication and optimal positioning of Motion’s brand
● Work closely with social media team (Account Director, Chief Experience Officer, Content Producer, Designer) to produce copy and collaterals for Motion’s owned channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, EDM, Medium) based on master schedule
● Social listening on Motion’s LinkedIn and Instagram channels
● Assist Account Director in copywriting case studies for completed projects, housed under Motion’s case study master deck
● Update website with latest case studies, following client approvals ● Assist in developing brand collaterals such as a business brochure in collaboration with Art Director, Account Director and Designer
● Collaborate with Account Director and Designer to prepare and execute plans for
change requests, updates and handover for website
● Support Account Director in strategising Motion’s positioning to external media through copy-editing, in collaboration with PR partner agency
● Research 2023/2024 awards to submit projects for (e.g. MARKies, Spikes Asia) and develop award decks according to submission guidelines
● Attend WIP meetings with Account Director and Founder & CEO for check-ins on content calendar and new initiatives
With the right skill sets, you:
● Have at least 2-3 years of proven experience in social media marketing and communications
● Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
● Are organised and proficient in Google Suite (particularly Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Word and Excel
● Enjoy and are good at building personal connections
With the right mindset, you:
● Are able to multitask between social media and communications tasks at any given time, and work well under pressure
● Are sharp, disciplined, resourceful and have a passion for delivering impactful content and experiences
