This is for the position of a Legal Counsel based in Canon Singapore, the regional headquarters for the group’s sales and marketing operations with subsidiaries and distributorship presence across more than 22 countries.
You will be part of a legal & regulatory team that reports to the General Counsel
You will have the opportunity to embark on legal matters relating to both the company’s Singapore and regional operations, interact with stakeholders at all levels and be exposed to a wide range of businesses.
Your work will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial and other day to day contracts
- Advising on general legal & regulatory matters
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of policies, processes and education for legal risk management & awareness
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Law
- 5-8 years practice and/or in-house experience
- Strong foundation in commercial law
- Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Independent, pro-active and with a good commercial mind
