AVP, Business Finance
Financial Reporting, Analysis and Valuation
As an AVP of Financial Reporting & Analysis, you'll be a key contributor to our client’s Group Financial Reporting team, driving accurate and timely delivery of financial statements for the Group – including overseas subsidiaries – and ensuring compliance to regulatory standards. In addition, you will be involved in assessing and valuing potential M&A targets internationally.
This role presents an exciting opportunity within a dynamic financial services environment, handling financial reporting and analysis and valuation tasks for a Group growing on a global basis.
Responsibilities:
- Valuation and analysis of potential M&A targets.
- Value, monitor and review investments for reporting.
- Accounting advisory on new business proposals.
- Analysis of financial results
- Assessment and interpretation of performance.
- Manage and prepare Group and subsidiary financial statements.
- Liaise with auditors, ensure completion of audits and reviews as required.
- Support finance integration of acquisitions.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Professional finance or accounting qualification e.g. CA, CPA, etc
- Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) holders well regarded
- 8+ years of professional experience within accounting, audit, finance or valuation
- Business valuation experience (2+ years) a distinct advantage
- SAP experience beneficial
Compensation:
- Base salary in the range of $9,000 - $12,000 depending on experience
- Bonus around 2.5 – 3+ months
