What needs to be done?
Quotations
· Liaise with customers and sales on request for quotes (RFQs) and quotation requirements.
· Prepare quotations and cost calculations, ensuring compliance to company procedures.
· Distribute to the various suppliers and follow up on quotations.
· Assist sales in turning quotations into active orders.
Sales Orders
· Review purchase orders received from customers ensuring compliance to company procedures.
· Confirm acceptance by other Howden business units and/or third party suppliers on scope, price and conditions.
· Manage confirmation to the customer, ensuring compliance to company procedures.
Sales and Funnel Management
· In cooperation with both sales and agents, pro-actively manage the funnel of outstanding proposals and keep the quotation status in CRM up to date.
· Provide accurate monthly / quarterly booking forecast
Purchase Orders
· Prepare purchase orders to internal business units and third party suppliers, ensuring compliance to company procedures.
· Liaise with and assist the Logistics and Finance Departments in the expediting process and order to cash process.

You are comfortable with negotiation, with a view to obtaining the best commercial price and terms for Howden. Applying your demonstrated selling techniques, you’ll offer upgrades, retrofits or alternative parts than originally supplied, to make quotes more attractive to our customers.
· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
· 3 to 5 years relevant experience with engineering products in the industry.
· Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Good interpersonal and cultural assimilation skills.
· High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
· Computer literacy, with good knowledge on using all MS Office applications
