About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Systems Application Analyst to join Global Transformation Company. As an Epic Systems Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Epic systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into efficient and effective Epic system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end-users, project team members, and vendors to gather and document requirements for Epic system configuration and customization.
- Analyse business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions using Epic system functionalities.
- Configure, build, and test the Epic system modules to meet the organization's requirements, following best practices and industry standards.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot issues related to the Epic systems, promptly resolving, or escalating them as needed.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users on Epic system usage and best practices.
- Participate in the testing and validation of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring system integrity and optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Epic system features, releases, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for system optimization and enhancement opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Epic Systems certification in one or more modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, ASAP, Beaker, Cogito).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Epic systems in a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and translate them into Epic system solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Epic system modules, workflows, and functionalities pertaining to the specific certification(s) held.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with end-users, project team members, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new Epic releases and functionalities.
