Procurement Executive
Location: Tuas (near to Gul Circle MRT)
Salary: $2,500 - $4,500
Working days: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm, Sat 9am to 1pm (alt Saturday after probation)
Job Description:
- Manage the operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, follow up on purchaser orders delivery and shipment schedules
- Monitor, determine inventory levels and purchase needs (purchase forecast/plan)
- Evaluate suppliers performance based on the organization criteria
- Select the suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality and cost-efficiency
- Build and maintain positive long-term supplier relationships
- Assist in audits on procurement related matters
- Any other adhoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum O level
- Experience in ship supply industry / similar in supply chain area / B2B is preferably
- At least 1 year of experience working as Purchaser
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel
- Knowledge of Marine Transportation System (MTS) is advantageous
