Job Description
• To be responsible for the financial accounting of companies
• Co-ordinate with shared services centre relating to accounting operations including day-to-day finance operations so as to keep proper accounting records and meet reporting requirements on time.
Job Content
Financial accounting
• Prepare monthly closing journal
• Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
• Review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate NRV
• Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive
• Review stock take reconciliation
• Assist FM in annual policy renewal review
• Audit review support (External and GCAD review)
• Ensure compliance to accounting standards
GST and tax
• Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
• Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
• Finalise corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants
Fixed Assets and Capex
• Review and maintain record for capex for new / replacement of fixed asset requisition
• Maintain asset register
• Co-ordinate with shared services centre and operations on day-to-day accounting matters
• Preparation and finalization of budget and forecasts Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
IT matters
• Implement and test new programs developed to ensure that they function correctly based on our requirement.
Job Requirement
• Min. Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience
• Good Excel skills
