About the role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Global Transformation Company. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate legal risks. With a focus on the healthcare industry, you will be responsible for handling complex legal matters and providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a wide range of matters, including healthcare regulations, contracts, litigation, corporate governance, and risk management.
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide timely and accurate advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate litigation matters, working closely with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlements, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations impacting the healthcare industry and proactively recommend necessary actions to ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Singapore Bar Association.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in the healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
