A key player in the Performance Excellence department, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of annual and long-term plant outages, provide tracking of cost, steam and water revenue and budgeting for Power Generation Group, support the generating plant performance tracking and reporting as well as ISO quality assurance and regulatory compliance fulfilment.
Responsibilities:
- Track & report generating plant performance indicators for both plant statistics and major equipment performances using thermodynamics model – to consolidate and churn out monthly and other progressive reports for submission.
- Collate and consolidate water and energy data as well as taking charge of the entire auditing process for the regular report submission to the relevant authorities for regulatory compliances.
- Drive the energy management initiatives, work with the relevant authorities to fund the implementation of energy efficiency projects within the power plant.
- Enhance the performance of O&M work processes using available tools or state-of-the-art technologies.
- Budget assumption preparation and set plant KPI targets as well as regular tracking of the relevant budgeting targets.
Requirements:
- Graduates are welcome to apply
- Degree in Engineering or 2 years of relevant experience in a power plant or process industry
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Suites such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Self-motivated with good organisational and management skills
- Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
