Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for quality and workmanship of every activity, with thorough knowledge of all phases of civil engineering construction related operations.
- Take care of QA/QC documents of entire project, including certificate, calibration, test result, inspection request, non-compliance report and site instruction/observation, permanent material delivered and other QA/QC document.
- Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and test on procedures; oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for processes.
- Review quality of materials at site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with department for material procurement, at the same time maintaining quality of material.
- Supervise effective implementation of test and inspection schedule, and ensure adherence to procedures. Coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
- Assist employees to ensure knowledge of quality standards and ensure compliance to quality manual and procedures. Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of systems.
- Oversee and handle equipment documents and efficient storage of hazardous materials, and perform quality audits as per required schedule.
- Analyze products and non-conformance processes, and evaluate documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality. Prepare monthly report to evaluate performance.
- Monitor and ensure efficient system of recording all project activities. Analyze processes to ensure all works comply with quality requirements.
- Manage work methods and maintain knowledge on quality assurance standards, and monitor continuous application for quality assurance processes, followed by recommending corrective actions for processes.
- Develop method statement for activity including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, inspection test plan, and checklist based on project specifications.
- Liaise with Technical Engineer for submission of material transmittal to consultant.
- Coordinate with consultant representative and site-in-charge for inspection.
- Monitor all activities related to quality.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Around 3 years QA/QC experience in Construction or Oil/Gas industries.
- Meticulous, has keen eye for details, good planning and coordination skills.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Great in problem solving.
- Ability to work in cross-functions team environment.
