What You Will Do:
- We are looking for a Live-Ops Game Specialist who will be working closely with our development and live operation team to elevate the gaming experience of our players. A quality candidate should be creative and curious with a genuine passion for games made by HoYoverse, as well as a willingness to actively interact with the community both in game and across various social media channels.
- Collect and manage feedback and suggestions from players and deliver meaningful insights to the development team. Design and work closely with the development team to create game content and features suitable for global players.
- Continuously monitor the performance of the events and their impact on the players.
- Work closely with operations and development teams in China, anticipate and regularly address potential problems while driving high-quality and timely deliverables. Coordinate and develop detailed requirements for all live releases, including planned updates, hotfix items, etc.
- Actively interact with the communities and player groups that grows around the game. Improve customer experience, assist in the identification of effective communication channels to reach target customers, and respond to the live game issues that occurs in the game with appropriate messaging when necessary.
- Assist various product test issues, design and implement the analytics and queries for game features, events, and player behavior to ensure the development team gets the information they need to evaluate and improve the game.
What We Are Looking For:
- Extensive knowledge and gameplay experience of RPG, ARPG genre.
- Deep understanding of gaming communities and needs of players in East Asia and North America regions.
- A passion for making and playing great games, with current titles and industry trends, especially in East Asia.
- A solid understanding of live operations in games and how they relate to key metrics and player motivation.
- Ability to understand and adapt your communication style to work with any team, internally or externally.
- 2+ years of professional experience in the game industry.
- Related experience working in the game industry (could be in any role), is a plus.
- Extensive gameplay experience with Honkai: Star Rail is a plus.
