Senior/ Lead Data Engineer
In view of business expansion, our client is seeking Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join their growing Digital Technology team.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior / Lead Data engineer:
- You will design and implement data pipelines, flows integrations, transformations and other components that will serve as the foundation for the enterprise’s next generation Data Hub and Innovation Platform in a multi-cloud environment.
- You will work together with Business Users, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to generate actionable insights and trustworthy predictions about important business performance measures such as customer acquisition and operational efficiency. Multiple microservices, a rest API, and reporting services should be developed, deployed, and maintained.
- You will assemble huge, complex data sets from several data sources.
- You will develop competence in the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of large-scale distributed systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of data engineering experiences, building and operating large scale data lake & DWH
- Experience in Hadoop ecosystem and big data tools, such as Spark, Kafka
- More than 2 years of relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Hive, Hbase and Postgres
- Advance knowledge of SQL and writing resource-efficient queries.
- Relevant work knowledge in scripting languages such as: Java, Python, Scala, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Cloud experience such as Azure, GCP, AWS
