We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have some experience in network skills, basic front-end & back-end programming, and a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles such as SIEMs and Elastic Stack. As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of our web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems that can handle large amounts of data.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the proper functioning of the frontend and backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that may arise in the server-side of our applications.
- Develop and maintain APIs to enable communication between the frontend and backend systems.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Use SIEMs and Elastic Stack to monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats.
- Maintain and optimize databases used by the application.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Some experience in programming with languages such as C++, C#, BASH, Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Basic knowledge of front-end programming using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Understanding of database systems such as Elastic Stack, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and how technologies such as SIEMs and EDRs work is advantageous.
- Experience with Node.js and React.js is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- A desire to learn and stay up to date with new technologies.
