Role And Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirements
  • Possess a good record of working on projects Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Shutdown work with EPCM contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Extensive track record managing Piping Construction activities within Refinery, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sector
  • Responsible for site construction activities for piping in respect of safety, quality, schedule and cost.
  • Adequate knowledge in international standards such as ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, ASTM A234, A420, A403 standards and other job relevant standards and codes.
  • Installation of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchanger, drum, reactor, tanks and its alignments
  • Inspection of Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, valves, nipples, plate tubes as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client Specifications.
  • Perform the final and review the reports, line check inspection, Pneumatic Testing, Hydro test, hot oil flushing, Chemical cleaning, Flood test, flushing & reinstatement, till the final stage of color coding and valve tagging.
  • Attend site meeting and resolve technical issue with main client, contractor and/or consultant.
  • Manage and plan the day-to-day construction activities and progress including coordinating with project team, client and sub-contractor to ensure that the work is being done safely and correctly.
  • Job preparation and pre-checks to ensure all materials are available and all required tools and equipment are available for both subcontracted and Self Performance installation works
  • Preparing material requisitions for all tools and consumables required to execute the work and coordinating with procurement to obtain materials
  • Review documents and drawings as per specification
  • Responsible for preparing as-built drawing of modified lines as per site actual condition requirements and take the approval from Design Engineering Section.
  • Review test pack and all inspection reports for final approval.
  • Inspection documents summit to Client approval

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experiences and above for field in Construction related to Oil & gas Refinery, LNG, Petrochemical, Power plant & Pharmaceuticals projects.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
  • Navisworks, SPR (Smart Plant Review)
