Our client is currently seeking an outstanding Vice President of Cyber Security Operations to join their team. They are in search of an individual with strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, a proven track record of proactively enhancing existing systems, and adaptability to embrace new developments.
Job Description
As the VP, Cyber Operations your responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and suggesting security solutions
- Collaborating with vendors to guarantee the successful roll out of security solutions
- Safeguarding security in the everyday IT operations
- Offering guidance as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity
- Managing and ensuring the efficiency of the security monitoring program
- Investigating and addressing IT security incidents
- Verifying that IT activities, processes, and procedures align with security requirements and policies
- Proposing improvements to management concerning the sufficiency of security controls
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate, you will have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Excellent experience in Incident Response and Network Security
- Excellent knowledge of Mitre Attack Framework, Security Frameworks and Industry Standards
- CISSP/CISA certified
