Job Responsibilities:
- Generate ideas to improve event catering set-up or customer service
- Follow through the entire process from menu proposal, set up, and collection of event items
- Meet up with internal customers for event enquiry
- Source for partners and suppliers/vendors
- Ensure smooth execution and operation on-site - pre-, during and post-events
- Communicate, maintain, and develop positive relationships with various event stakeholders, suppliers/vendors, sponsors, content providers
- Support in handling admin duties such as monthly billing reports, catering reports, order placing with caterer/vendor
- Raise Purchase Order for Finance submission
- Adhere to HSE systems and procedures
- Follow all Emergency Response plans on-site
- Follow procedures for identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks
- Adhere to and always maintain food handling standards and food safety plan
- Assist Unit Manager/Assistant Unit Manager in reports and ad-hoc duties
- Assist in any other duties required by the events team
Job Requirements:
- Minimum three years experience in reception in a hospitality and/or corporate environment required
- Competent in Microsoft Office products.
- Able to commit to long working hours during peak periods
