Job Summary:
Logistics company is looking for a Business Development Executive to generate potential leads and venture into the China market, securing new clients for the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hunting for sales and new target accounts for specific trade lanes assigned
- Obtaining and handling all detailed RFQs and shipments
- Developing and growing existing local accounts
- Sourcing for new business through cold calls and telemarketing
- Presenting professional sales service to all customers
- Preparing and submitting of monthly sales reports to HOD and Management
- Any other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Logistics, Business or equivalent
- Min. 1 year experience in Sales and Business Development (Experience in Logistics / Airfreight sales will be an added advantage)
- Fluent in Chinese to liaise with foreign stakeholders and counterparts
- Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good sales presentation skills and a team player
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Self motivated and driven to achieve targets
