Key Responsibilities:
- Support General Counsel and Legal Counsels on various legal matters, including arranging internal training, preparation of reports, drafting and execution of internal policies and guidelines
- Provide legal supports to various business units of the Company. Assist in drafting, preparing letters, reviewing legal documentation including NDAs, engagement letters, etc.
- Assist in reviewing legal documentation and providing general legal advice to middle/back offices of the Company
- Support General Counsel on developing and updating house templates and standard terms & conditions for the Company
- Support General Counsel on handling litigation, arbitration or other judicial proceedings
- Prepare and submit reports to Head Office in accordance with internal requirements of the Group
- Liaison with Legal and Compliance Department of Head Office and the Group
- Ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Postgraduate’s degree in law (LLM or equivalent)
- At least 6 years relevant work experience in Chinese law firm, International law firm and leading financial services firm
- In-house legal experience in corporate finance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Native Mandarin and fluent English in both speaking and writing are essential, with Cantonese as an advantage
