The candidate, reporting directly to the CEO, will be required to managing his/her time on the following tasks:
- Daily review of systems and processes to ensure accurate data flow of sales and expenses to centralized Xero accounting system as well as Monday.com project management system
- Ensure all revenue and expenses are recorded in appropriate chart of accounts in real time and accurately
- Timely Financial Reporting and Submissions - ensuring weekly and monthly financial reports are prepared accurately within given deadlines
- Review bank account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations and prepare payments as per established SOPs
- Prepare and submit CPF/GST/Annual tax and employment income in accordance with statutory deadlines
- Perform analysis of key financial performance indicators
- Identify potential issues or areas for improvement in Group as well as entity-level Finance/Accounting function, recommend and implement processes to ensure quality control
- Work closely with all staff members and leaders from different entities, in ensuring all financial processes are adhered to, identify deficient processes, recommend and implement upgrades
- Work closely with HR to ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing
- Experience on using online systems such as Xero, with necessary integrations with other related systems
- Support with all external audit requirements
- Support Group CEO and Operations Director with projections analysis and budget preparations
The candidate is expected to have:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting and/or 2-3 years experience working in the F&B industry
2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
3. Full P&L and Balance Sheet experience
4. Experience in complying with external audit is a plus
5. Good practical knowledge on Singapore accounting, finance, tax and annual compliance
6. Strong communication and teamworking skills
7. Fluency in English
