As one of Singapore's Best Employers 2023, Jacobs would like to welcome a Coastal Project Manager to join our Water business based in the Singapore office, as part of our commitment to dealing with climate change. This is a full-time role, managing a variety of coastal engineering projects specifically in the areas of coastal structures, feasibility analysis, engineering designs and analyses, report preparation, managing permitting and stakeholders and construction engineering services; and support our linear infrastructure team to manage flood alleviation and drainage improvement projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering consulting services as technical lead and/or project manager to achieve high client satisfaction
- Manage coastal infrastructure and drainage improvement projects from planning to design and implementation phases of projects
- Managing client relationships through the life cycle of projects; pursuing opportunities from first spark to award of contract, to successful project completion
- Leading detailed discussions to scope out clients’ requirements and expectations
- Identifying and securing follow-on opportunities through the quality and value of our engineering and client services
- Providing technical leadership and review of engineering consultancy services
- Support proposals and presentations for engineering consultancy services
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
- Degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering. Registered as a Professional / Chartered Engineer will be an added advantage
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in all areas of coastal, maritime, and wider civil engineering practice and infrastructure development
- Experience in the feasibility, planning, investigations, modeling, design, and construction of coastal engineering projects
- High-level management/direction of projects with multi-disciplined design teams in coastal engineering across the region
- Knowledge of climate change and sea level rise implications for coastal areas, and experience with consideration of same in coastal planning and design
- Prior experience working on PUB projects will be an added advantage.
