Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales and Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of our company. The ideal candidate is hands-on with a proven track record in sales and international market expansion, and a keen interest in engineering or aquaculture and early-stage startups.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and achieve sales target by effective planning and execution.
- Develop and execute strategies to establish a favourable market position locally and internationally for the company in local and overseas market.
- Analyse market trends, build up good customer relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build and manage sales pipeline from scratch to generate leads.
- Work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to refine value proposition based on market feedback and emerging opportunities.
Ideal Skillsets Required
- Min. 5 years of experience in sales and business development. Experience in aquaculture or engineering industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, aquaculture, engineering, or a related field
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building something new.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in clearly communicating the strategy verbally or in written form.
- Well-rounded person who can evaluate a business/product for its weaknesses and strengths.
- A solution-oriented approach and the ability to keep calm under pressure and solve problems timely and effective.
