Job Description: Managerof Business Development Distributed Generation (DG)


Role Overview: The Manager of Business Development - DG will be responsible for leading and executing all aspects of DG business development within our organization.


Activities within GD encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to, strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and direct sales & account success


Key Responsibilities:


Deal Generation

· Identify and pursue new projects of distributed generation and utility scale.

· Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships including:

  • Builder relationships
  • Joint development
  • Distributed Projects


Resource allocation

You will be expected to make the most of our resources includes takeing direction and providing input to internal and external resources such as:

  • Design, surveys, permitting, grid connection, regulatory approval, legal, consulting, etc
  • Champions process analytics ensuring various departments and stakeholders enjoy transparent, homogenous information flow.

Qualifications:

  1. Industry expert in distributed generation renewable energy projects.
  2. 4+ years of business development in renewable energy.
  3. Thorough understanding of multi-million-dollar capital investment decision-making.
  4. Ability to participate in multi million dollar tenders.
  5. Project finance track record
  6. Joint venture and M&A experience throughout Asia.
  7. Proven ability to operate effectively with little oversight.
  8. Commercial acumen
  9. Track record of negotiating and closing complex contracts.
  10. Understanding of associated project risks with ability to install proper risk management framework.
  11. Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of the renewable energy landscape.
