RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Duties And Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis 

  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to identify, gather and verify user requirements as user stories for user alignment and development. 
  • Create detailed requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories.
  • Validate and verify requirements with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.  

Solution Design and Implementation

  • Work with development team and stakeholders to establish delivery timeline, key milestones, resource needs, monitor delivery progress, including acceptance of UAT.  
  • Analyse and support the design of technical solutions to enable integration with other systems  
  • Develop product roadmaps for the intended product(s).  
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects. 

Process Analysis and Improvement 

  • Provide support for existing operations, including support and maintenance for existing systems, incident management, service requests and fulfillment of change requests.  
  • Work with stakeholders to design and document new, streamlined processes. 

Key Deliverables

Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations for key national platforms that NVPC operates such as Giving.sg, Company of Good Portal and SG Cares App. The candidate will be working with the wider NVPC Digital Innovation team and leaders, as well as external vendors, to ensure that the systems are functioning and the lifecycle for enhancements and changes are managed properly through a rigorous SDLC process. In addition, to contribute knowledge capital to ongoing NVPC digital projects and initiatives as we undergo a technology transformation agenda across the organization in 2023.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant working experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year of digital product development experience, preferably on platforms.
  • Experience managing mobile and web applications and implementing business process systems.
  • Experience in managing products and ensuring its growth in accordance to internal and external demands and trends.
  • Highly motivated in problem-solving with strong investigative skills.
  • Effective self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of managing business stakeholders, partners and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with SQL syntax and Java programming concepts.
  • Understanding of UI/UX concepts is a plus.
  • Experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript for rapid prototyping is a plus.
  • Experience in the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle process (SDLC), and understanding of the ITSM framework and processes is advantageous, along with familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence (or equivalent).
