Roles and Responsibilities:
As an analyst for O&T Financial Control, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills to be able to contribute effectively amongst the various duties in this role:
- Support the Finance team and business on all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including database management, controlling, analysing and reporting on financial performance
- Work with various departments/groups and Finance teams on tracking and understanding financials related to IT projects (including Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditure, Chargeouts)
- Perform impact analysis by applying scenario tools to cost
- Understand and explore ways for improvement of cost allocation.
- Provide support to costing review with Business Units.
- Familiar with Tax in Asian Region and advise potential tax implication to IT services
- Preparation of annual budget, financial forecasts and ad-hoc reporting
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments relating to financials
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Possess a good university degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Working experience and knowledge in Management reporting, or work in analytical roles in the financial industry will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately and on a timely basis
- Strong MS-Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, pivot table) and Data Management experience will be advantageous
- An independent self-starter and a team player who is able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
