This is a confidential search for our client in the financial services industry. They are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Singapore.


about the job

Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely in a small team you will:

  • Be the key point of contact for all HR matters for the company's employees in Singapore
  • Handle the full spectrum of HR functions, working closely with internal stakeholders, combining your knowledge and expertise with the available HR and other resources to provide sound, pragmatic solutions to the needs of the business
  • Provide HR support effectively and efficiently to the Singapore business
  • Draft employment documents and manage the employment visa process for employees and dependants when necessary
  • Maintain monthly HR reports, personnel-related data, organisational charts and other ad hoc reports
  • Ensure HR processes (such as the onboarding, offboarding and transfer processes), systems and records are managed maintained to the highest standards to adhere to reporting, business and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, with the support of the reporting manager where necessary, and continue to develop these skills to become strategically partnered with the business

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR working experience within a multinational company
  • Experience in the financial services / insurance/ financial brokerage industry and IHRP Certification will be an added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of human resources processes and best practices in Singapore including in the areas of interpreting employment contracts
  • High proficiency in MS Offices especially MS Word and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to-detail, communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on, meticulous and collaborative team player who is also a problem-solver
