You will maintain and enhance the security and surveillance of our Serviced Residence, ensuring that it adheres to the necessary regulations. You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Security.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Patrol all areas of the premise to ensure the security, safety and fire safety of its occupants
- Monitor the movements of all personnel throughout the premise and alert the Security Supervisor of suspicious behaviour
- Monitor the routes taken by employees when commencing and concluding shift
- Record and report all acts of wilful neglect of duty by employees
- Be conversant with fire and emergency procedures of the Serviced Residence and assist the relevant responders in case of emergencies
- Investigate and prepare incident reports on any occurrence or event associated with fire, damage, threats and disruption
- Notify the Engineering Department of any maintenance defects detected during patrol that pose safety and security risks
- Provide basic levels of concierge, housekeeping and engineering services
- Conduct daily checks on the key cabinet and report any discrepancies to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Security
· To take on additional specific engineering duties such as:
- Perform routine daily inspection for some M&E equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance works.
- Perform checkout and arrival room inspection
- Perform related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
You have:
- At least 2 years of relevant security related experience
- Attained at least a WSQ Certificate in Security Operations or an equivalent qualification
- Possess a valid individual Security License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD)
- Knowledge in keycard system, Vingcard or Safflock and handling fire protection system
- Knowledge in basic patrol, security equipment and the handling of security-related incidents
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Willingness to perform shifts
