- Teaching Tamil Language to primary and secondary school children, based on modified Singapore's Tamil Language curriculum
- Prepare an appropriate, relevant and differentiated curriculum which allows for progression within and across the School and within the curricula
- Update and review the schemes of learning and resources for the Tamil Language curricula
- Support colleagues to develop effective teaching and learning strategies within the curriculum area
- Implement and monitor the quality of teaching and learning of students in the curriculum area
- Ensure the standards of student attainment, achievement and behaviour within the curriculum area
- Ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum in a whole school context and integrate other curriculum where appropriate
- Support the process of Self-Evaluation and development planning within the curriculum area
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject area(s)
- Experience and familiarity with International education is helpful
- A track record of Good or Outstanding teaching
- Evidence of appropriate in-service training
- At least 2 years experience as a trained Tamil Language Teacher
