The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are in good condition for smooth operation, compliance with regulatory requirements and adopt to proper preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- General facility maintenance (eg. Electrical Installation, Air-con, Mechanical Ventilation, Dehumidifier, Generator, Roller Shutter Door, Fire protection system, Plumbing & Sanitary)
- Perform servicing, troubleshoot and repair of facility matters
- Conduct periodic building inspection and defects rectification.
- Supervise and ensure that preventive maintenance, repairs and replacement works carried out by appointed contractor are in accordance to the specifications and requirement.
- Maintain batteries and charges in working order in accordance with OSHA Standard.
- Conduct test of safety equipment (Exit signs, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, etc.) to ensure OHSA and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
- Supervise security, cleanliness and facilities management services on premise
- Ensure cleanliness of all common areas such as lifts, floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, partitions, panelling, glazing’s, fittings
- Attend to stakeholder and tenants feedback and manage stakeholder expectations on expected service levels
- Provide coverage for facilities work in Tuas Bay Drive as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- ITC/ NTC in Building, Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years work experience in facilities/ building maintenance, preferable in a warehouse or industrial premise setting.
- Preferred with SCDF certified Fire Safety Manager, and in practise.
- Preferred with Work at Height, Forklift, and related Work Health Safety certificate
- Good knowledge of M&E hands on maintenance and good understanding the regulatory guidelines, safety, environmental and building standards.
- Possess good organizational, troubleshooting, ability to work independent with minimum supervision, excellent initiatives, capable multi-tasking and problem solving skills in difficult situations.
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office application and Internet.
