As a Technical Support Engineer, the incumbent will be involved in but not limited to:
- Provide technical support based on company's product and solution
- To be well versed in hardware such as vessel-IT, VSAT equipments, VDR systems, data logging, ship performance systems, cloud connectivity etc
- Perform technical and user training as required
- Relevant (daily/weekly) reporting to HQ Support Manager
- Be open for on-call duty outside office hours as and when required
- Other related duties as assigned
Required Skills Sets
- Relevant experience as an Engineer for marine electronics or automation service
- Experienced in navigation equipment
- Experienced in Modbus, maritime communications etc
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
