Working on a chemical site you will be involved in Nitrogen/Helium Leak Testing works on site.
Responsibilities include:
- Assumes the role of Project Engineer at designated worksite(s), reporting to the Site Manager.
- Under minimal supervision, execute the designated scope of work in accordance with specifications and documented procedures.
- Assisting in pre-mobilization activities, including the selection of equipment and implementation of pre-mobilisation function testing for critical equipment items and as required by the contract or client requirements.
- Locating of equipment at the designated load-out area, rigging up and carrying out of pre-testing activities prior to commencement of operations in accordance with the documented procedures.
- Assists with the training of assigned personnel in operations and maintenance.
- Reporting any defects which may result in an accident/incident including the implementation of the corrective actions.
- Maintains records and communications as required by management. Promotes and maintains good customer relations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Preferred qualification / requirements
- Two year Technical Degree preferred.
- Industry experience and product line training required.
- Demonstrable experience in the successful provision of process and pipeline services including pipeline pre-commissioning, commissioning, hydrostatic testing, pipeline pigging, pneumatic leak testing, nitrogen-helium leak testing and ancillary services in a supervisory capacity.
