Manage Project Managers and Technical Service Managers, providing guidance and support. Monitor and optimize resource allocation for project success.
Financial Management:
Utilize financial experience to drive services revenue, improve margins, and enhance profitability. Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve departmental goals.
Cloud Practice Development:
Leverage experience in developing and growing a cloud practice within the organization. Establish and execute strategies for expanding cloud professional services offerings.
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients.
Technology Stack Expertise:
Possess familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Red Hat technologies for effective cloud solutions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment on cloud-related initiatives, whether public or private.
Partner and Offshore Collaboration:
Engage and collaborate with local partners to enhance service offerings. Collaborate with offshore development centers to optimize resource allocation and delivery capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Good experience in cloud professional services, cloud consulting, or a related field, with expertise in both public and private cloud environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management expertise.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
- Familiarity with government cloud compliance and security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA) for public cloud.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience to drive services revenue, margins, and profitability.
