Job summary
In charge of setting and running a chronic disease database. Manage administrative work which may be related to research or general work will also be needed for this position. Opportunities to help in the administration of not just the database but also as per directions of the Principal Investigator (PI), and to pursue own research and apply for fundings.
Job Responsibilities
- Setting up a chronic disease database and analysis.
- Approach and patient to participate in clinical research studies
- Write and review research papers, present research outcomes and develop collaborations.
- Project management, and provide guidance to junior researchers.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
- Develop your own portfolio of research work and projects.
- Working with PIs on research grant administrative matters such as: supporting variation & extension requests, working with the ethics committee and submission of claims, assisting with Annual progress reports, Mid-term and Final review reports
Job Requirements :
- PhD and/or Degree in Nursing / Medicine or related discipline.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in medical research is a plus.
- Previous experience with setting up a database will be useful.
- Ability to work independently, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
- Driven and motivated, with potential to achieve research excellence.
- Ability to generate experimental results leading to high impact publications.
