About Our Client

My client is a fast-growing, Singapore-headquartered industrial wastewater treatment EPC company actively involved in treating hard-to-treat/recalcitrant contaminants and water reclamation/recycling, leveraging their unique and niche technology.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to grow the Singapore business with high potential for spearheading upcoming APAC expansion plans.

Preferably, someone with experience in wastewater treatment from an EPC environment. Other sales expertise in parts/instruments/equipment from the wastewater treatment industry, selling to the manufacturing, petrochemical, oil, and gas industries, is also welcome to apply.

Job Description

  • Actively expand the company's client base through direct efforts and leveraging established networks.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives, enhancing the project portfolio and identifying new business prospects.
  • Foster and nurture robust relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are not only met but exceeded through exceptional customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and fostering long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Identify potential clients, industries, and market segments for expansion within Singapore.
  • Drive the initiation of new projects, achieving sales targets, and meeting business development goals in terms of both revenue and sales margins.
  • Prepare comprehensive tender documents, presentations, and negotiation terms to secure new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market conditions, review customer information, and collaborate with internal teams on process design, cost structures, pricing strategies, and technology demonstrations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental or any related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in water treatment within the oil & gas industry.
  • Showcase a track record of success in sales, business development, or proposal preparation within the water treatment or related industry.
  • Exhibit a combination of strong commercial and business skills with a solid technical background.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in proposal preparation and the ability to comprehend intricate specifications.
  • Boast a well-established network of potential clients across various industries such as Petrochemical, Chemical, Electronics, F&B, and others.
