THE ROLE
Manage the day-to-day bunker/cargo operations
Lead the operation functions from beginning to end coverage and achieve operational excellence to minimize any delays and errors
Supervise physical bunker/cargo delivery process for pre & post shipment
Monitor vessel operations such as updating, liaising and vessel movement status.
Coordinate and ensure contractual obligations on loading process and date range nominations stated are met in time and accurately.
Coordinate daily delivery phase operations and liaise with key internal & external stakeholders.
Work closely with finance department to manage bunker trading financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping
Manage bunker/cargo operations, such as managing off-spec issues, cargo readiness and mitigate operational risks.
Prepare Post-Shipment work, consolidating shipment details for final/provisional price confirmation, invoicing, demurrage assessment, actualizing costs, and updating operational cost incurred under the subject voyage.
Compile and record all operational data in timely and accurate manner, facilitate up-to-date and accurate information flow.
Plan and establish proper documentation for operation procedures regularly.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors’ Degree in Maritime, Business, Economics, Trade, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
8 years of operational experience at bunker/cargo trading company with team management experience
Understanding of INCOTERMS and their respective risk and title transfer progress.
Knowledge in oil product operations from pre to post shipment
Knowledge of port/terminal/storage/agency/ship/inspection operations
Meticulous and detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
