Job Descriptions
- Develop short to long term solutions for LNG and piped gas procurement for refinery.
- Provide timely and accurate market intelligence of LNG/natural gas supply/demand, pricing and economic analysis.
- Provide economic evaluation of commercial long/medium/short transactions and origination activities.
- Establish and build 3rd Party relationships with counterparts in the region for LNG/natural gas deals opportunities.
- Negotiate and conclude gas supply contracts with domestic and international suppliers, for short term and long-term supply.
- Active participation in the Company's strategic and natural gas related tactical discussions.
- Coordinate with refinery’s planning department and project team to ensure stable gas supply, including gas sourcing and infrastructure readiness.
- Collaborate with Logistics department with regards to Logistics Operations, Chartering etc
- Closely monitor and always keep abreast with latest markets trends and proposal on best marketing strategies for potential business opportunities.
- Identify profitable trading/optimization opportunities and devise trading plans.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of related experience in LNG ; with experience in major player in petrochemical industry an added advantage.
- Good knowledge and familiar with international trading business.
- Familiar with global petrochemical industry.
- Strong Business Acumen and Analytical skills.
- Keen eye for details, strong judgement capability and coordination skills
- An excellent team player
- Excellent Communications and Interpersonal Skills. Able to read, write and speak Mandarin due to requirements to liaise with Chinese counterparties and customers.
