The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Handle daily finance operational matters, including the preparation of full set accounts, billings, payments, and credit management.
- Verify and process staff claims, ensuring timely disbursement to employees.
- Maintain and update fixed asset register to track and manage company assets effectively.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Perform monthly inter-company reconciliation and send confirmation request on a monthly basis.
- Prepare journal entries for month-end closing, such as accruals of expenses, amortisation of prepayments and depreciation of fixed assets.
- Prepare month-end balance sheet schedules to support financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly GST returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide support during the month-end closing and annual audit process.
- Perform any financial and administrative support or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
To excel in this role, you should posses the following qualifications and skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with fundamental financial, tax and accounting concepts.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and capaple of working independently with minimal supervision.
