The School of Social Sciences (SSS) at NTU is hiring a part-time (28-hr/wk) Research Associate to be affiliated with a multi-year research project that utilizes qualitative and computational social science techniques to study social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will work alongside the Principal Investigator and other staff in:
- Conducting and maintaining up-to-date literature reviews
- Preparing and managing ethical research procedures
- Collecting, organizing, and analysing social media data
- Drafting project reports and contributing to/preparing research publications
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree (MA, MSc) in Social Sciences
- Experience in conducting independent research on social media platforms
- Knowledge of qualitative and computational social science
- Demonstrate capacity to publish impactful research in high-quality outlets
