JOB DESCRIPTION

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As Industry Head, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will also work with the Sales Leadership team to set strategic objectives and drive the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help the team deliver on ambitious goals and partner directly with clients to exceed business and merchant growth goals across markets and industries.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage business growth and encourage the utilization of Google as the major media channel for our partners. Understand and solve client issues proactively and creatively, and constantly strive for improvement.
  • Build an advertising sales operation capable of providing excellent service to Google’s advertisers and agencies with a collaborative approach. Lead and develop strategic agreements.
  • Manage relationships with a large set of stakeholders. Lead sales portfolio, managing teams across various workflows crossing strategy development to core sales execution.
  • Represent the Google Brand proposition both internally (e.g. leadership engagements) and externally (e.g. customers, agencies, conferences).
  • Lead and mentor teams to develop their skills in areas such as relationship-building, account strategy and planning, opportunity identification, and solution sales.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12 years of experience in performance marketing, media/advertising industry sales, or management consulting
  • Experience in building and managing teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to speak and write in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve Urdu speaking customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media and advertising ecosystem
  • Knowledge of Google and YouTube advertising solutions
  • Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders to define objectives and results
  • Established relationships within the advertising and technology stakeholders in the region
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
