Project Director - Infrastructure Configuration Assessment

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Project Director to lead a critical initiative focused on the in-depth assessment of infrastructure configurations, builds, and operational procedures of selected critical business applications within one of the top bank of Singapore. The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive analysis of data related to application performance, past incidents, and problems. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Strategy:

· Develop and implement a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, and timelines for the infrastructure configuration assessment.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define specific goals and success criteria for the assessment.

Team Leadership:

· Lead a specialized team comprising project managers, system analysts, infrastructure experts, and other relevant professionals.

· Provide clear direction and guidance to the team, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative working environment.

Infrastructure Analysis:

· Oversee the study of infrastructure configurations, build processes, and operational procedures of critical business applications within the bank.

· Ensure a thorough understanding of the underlying technology stack, hardware, software, and networking components.

Data Analysis:

· Direct the analysis of data related to application performance, past incidents, and problems.

· Implement advanced data analytics methodologies to derive actionable insights.

Quality Assurance:

· Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the infrastructure assessment.

· Develop and enforce standardized assessment protocols and procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement:

· Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior management.

· Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Risk Management:

· Identify potential risks associated with infrastructure configurations and operational procedures.

· Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the security and stability of critical business applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 20+ years of experience in project management, specifically in infrastructure assessments within the banking sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking infrastructure, systems architecture, and technology stacks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in project management and information security.
  • Previous experience working with top-tier banks or financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
  • Advanced skills in data analytics and visualization tools.
