Responsibilities:
- To handle Engineering Department for water/wastewater projects independently
- Drive development of designs by involving in planning, scheduling, and coordinating among the team.
- Manage and coordinate the review, submission, and approval of design by internal process and design team as well as sub-contractors.
- Manage & guide a group of engineers in terms of assignment, progress update, schedule, efficiency and ensure timely deliverable of quality designs & drawings.
- Attend project meetings and address technical concerns from clients, consultants etc.
- Lead research and develop design for new projects or tender preparation.
- Organize and chair internal meetings with project teams etc. for reviews, discussions, and progress update.
- Manage and lead site inspections to verify the execution of installation against the design approved.
- Manage the as-built drawings and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Manage and organize the approved drawings, technical documents systematically and keep good record for projects respectively.
- Other ad-hoc activities as and when needed
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in the management of complex water infrastructure projects
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Team player and with strong leadership
