Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in an in-house engineering squad dedicated to achieving engineering excellence in the design, development, and operation of Cloud Platforms.
- Practice and lead other development communities in the development and deployment on the cloud platforms
- Take on opportunities to learn and implement large-scale automation with a cloud landing zone across multiple Cloud Service Providers.
- Serve as the guiding subject matter expert for DevOps methodologies, contributing expertise in Automation, Availability, Scalability, and Resiliency to both the team and the broader development communities.
- Focus on the development of APIs, backend automation using NodeJS/Python, and ensuring code deployment security through various CI/CD toolchains such as GitLab, Atlassian, and Terraform.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in API/backend development and integration using NodeJS and Python.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.
- Practitioner in agile development, secure pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, Policies as Code, and Git.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Willingness to learn about large-scaled distributed systems and their challenges.
- Familiarity with code security and the use of open-source tools in relevant domains.
- Passion for automation.
- Good to have: Experience with Terraform and Bash scripting.
- Good to have: Understanding of Cloud Landing Zone concepts such as Control Tower, Terraform Landing Zone, Microsoft Azure CAF.
- Good to have: Experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles and familiarity with application monitoring tools.
