Responsibilities of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer :
· In charge of reviewing design drawings and shop drawings, monitor progress of drawing, coordinating with design consultants and site teams, review quantities with cost control department.
· Leading draftsmen in designing, calculating and drafting, coordinating with client, construction team, authorities and stakeholders, cross checking quantities with independent third party and providing design service during construction stage.
· In charge of tunnel structure technical scheme design, structural calculation, quantity check, design drawing review.
· In charge of structure technical scheme design, structural calculation, quantity check, design drawing review
· Draft and calculate the thin-walled concrete within the station like platform, concrete ventilation, stairs, and inter layers, and providing design service during construction stage.
· Making and monitoring progress of design, leading the team of draftsmen in designing and drafting, coordinating with engineers of different disciplines, clients, applying for NOC from authorities and stakeholders and providing design service during construction stage.
· Designing layout and cross section of the station, passenger flow design, firefighting design and coordinating with design team, client, authorities and stakeholders. The working stage from concept design to final design.
· Coordinating with all system discipline including MEP, telecommunication, signal, fire alarm system, building alarm system, integrated supervisory control system and the like, arranging all pipelines of different disciplines within the inner space of station, avoiding conflicts among all pipelines before construction.
Requirements:
· Degree/Master in Geotechnical/ Civil/ Mining Engineering
· More than 8 years of Geotechnical engineering experience
· At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry and with supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity
· Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information.
· Excellence written and verbal communication skills
